Tonkean Merges with AdaptivOps to Create the Tonkean Community

The AdaptivOps community has grown strong, with membership growing by 50% year over year. It’s lived a parallel life alongside Tonkean and has become a proven and constant partner in bringing together ops professionals, creating opportunities for networking, and hosting events. 

Now, Tonkean is investing more into the AdaptivOps community, and the two entities are merging to become the Tonkean Community.

What is the Tonkean Community?

The Tonkean Community is functionally the same as the AdaptivOps community, but it’s officially moving under the umbrella of Tonkean rather than existing alongside it. 

It’s still all the same great content and same great forum, just with more firepower behind the entire endeavor. And of course, the Modern Business Operations podcast will continue to roll on; it’s also enjoyed significant growth, recently becoming the #1 ranked podcast in Business Operations and Legal Operations in the past year.

What does this mean for you?

If you’re already a member of AdaptivOps, fundamentally nothing is changing for you—it’s just that we have some new digs and a name change. What’s new, though, is that we’re rolling out Community Cohort groups in our forum. 

Community Cohort groups are topic-based private Slack groups in the AdaptivOps Slack. They include areas like AI, Automation, Procurement, Legal, HR, and so on.
