Tonkean Included in Top “50 to Watch” List by Hackett Group for Third Year in a Row

For the third year in a row, Tonkean has been included in the “50 to Watch” list of top procurement technology providers by The Hackett Group.

Last year, The Hackett Group took over the “50 to Know,” “50 to Watch,” “Future 5” and “Hall of Fame” lists from Spend Matters.

As 2026 Hackett Group intelligence analysts write, the lists are compiled “through rigorous, data-driven evaluation of the procurement technology market, and represent the best-in-class solutions, fast-growing firms to keep an eye on, and promising new entrants that have made their potential impact evident.”

"These lists often serve as a starting point for organizations evaluating procurement technology investments," said Nikhil Gaur, director of strategic projects and research analyst at The Hackett Group®.

"As the market becomes more crowded and AI adoption accelerates, providers that stand out are those demonstrating both innovation and the ability to deliver real business impact."

Tonkean was included for its industry leading procurement orchestration offerings, including ProcurementWorks, Tonkean’s agentic orchestration solution for enterprise procurement teams, and Tonkean Contracts Hub, an AI-native contract orchestration solution that leverages Tonkean proactive AI agents to modernize the contract lifecycle—from request and review through post-signature obligations.

(Recently, Matt Aaronson, Tonkean’s Sr. Director of Product Marketing, Sven Blawatt, Tonkean’s Sr. Procurement Transformation Architect, and Mike Pierson, Tonkean's Director of Sales Engineering, joined Dawn Tiura of SIG for an in-depth demonstration and overview of these tools. Find the full recording here.)

We’re proud to once again be recognized by Hackett for these offerings. As the Hackett team writes, “This year's evaluation reflects a rapidly evolving procurement technology landscape, with AI-enabled capabilities now widely embedded across platforms and solution categories. As organizations seek measurable outcomes from technology investments, differentiation is increasingly driven by how effectively providers translate innovation into practical, scalable results.”

Top 6 Procurement Intake and Orchestration Platforms for Enterprise Teams (2026 Guide)

Because it’s so crowded, and because vendors claim to provide so many similar capabilities—everyone offers end-to-end AI agents, deep integrations, and agentic orchestration capabilities now!—the procurement orchestration market has become genuinely difficult to navigate.
