Tonkean Wins “Provider Excellence Award” at Running Legal Like a Business Conference

Earlier this week, at the Running Legal Like a Business Conference, Tonkean was recognized by LegalOps.com with the Provider Excellence Award, which recognizes “solution providers that deliver exceptional value and act as true partners to legal departments.”

Tonkean was recognized for LegalWorks, our agentic legal orchestration solution for enterprise legal teams. LegalWorks is currently powering legal operations inside some of the world’s largest and most innovative enterprises, such as Workday, Cisco, and Google.

We’re thrilled and honored to have won the Provider Excellence Award—and for the second year in a row, no less. LegalOps.com’s annual Running Legal Like a Business Conference convenes thought leaders, practitioners, and technology providers presently shaping the future of legal operations from all over the world.

As LegalOps.com puts it, “The RLLB 2025 Awards celebrate the individuals and organizations that are redefining what it means to run legal like a business. From innovation and transformation to mentorship, leadership, and the next generation of talent, this year’s honorees represent the very best of our profession.”

To be recognized by this community is extremely validating, in that this is precisely the community Tonkean exists to serve.

It also underscores our commitment to building technology that genuinely helps legal operations teams do their important work of enabling legal and the business better.

The future of workflow automation, process orchestration, and AI agents in legal

The Provider Excellence Award comes at an exciting time for Tonkean. Earlier this year, we made our agentic orchestration capabilities and autonomous AI agents generally available for enterprise teams like procurement and legal.

Today, Tonkean LegalWorks provides enterprise legal teams the most comprehensive and powerful legal workflow automation and agentic orchestration solution in the enterprise. It comes with an AI front door to legal services—enabling employees to easily submit and track requests via Slack, Teams, email, or web forms. It orchestrates workflows across applications, data systems, humans, and AI agents behind the scenes. It enables legal and legal operations teams to autonomously triage requests from intake to resolution, orchestrate complex processes across the entirety of the organization, and coordinate the matter lifecycle across applications, data sources, and teams.

The enterprise legal teams using Tonkean LegalWorks to this end are seeing massive increases in process adoption and efficiency, increasing rates of employee and internal satisfaction—on the back of vastly improved visibility—and an explosion in overall business value, thanks to the way LegalWorks transforms legal from a black box into a trusted partner.

We’re delighted for LegalWorks to be recognized by the community we strive to serve.

More than anything, however, we’re grateful to LegalOps.com, Running Legal Like a Business, and all the members of the legal and legal operations communities for trusting us as their workflow and agentic orchestration partner of choice.

As Jennifer O’Gara, our Senior Director of Marketing, People and Talent who received the award Wednesday night said, “An especially big thank you goes out to Connie Brenton and Jeffrey Franke, the visionary founders of RLLB, for creating such a powerful community where legal ops leaders and providers come together to raise the bar for the entire industry.”

We promise, we’re just getting started!

Orchestration, Context Graphs, and the Path to Autonomous AI Agents

Context graphs provide what SaaS cannot. But the key question for AI agents then becomes, how to provide them access to context graphs? The only way is orchestration.

The State of Procurement Orchestration In 2026

No other emergent technology in recent memory has so powerfully captured the imagination of either analysts or practitioners. Dr. Elouise Epstein, in her 2023 Spider Map, foretold that orchestration platforms could become “the one app to rule them all.” But procurement leaders should understand the stakes of sticking with the status quo versus adopting orchestration that can run end to end across systems.
